TNB: The Only Blasphemy
John Bachar laces up his boots and cinches the sling on his chalk bag. “Ready?” Only then do I realize he means to climb all two thousand feet solo, without a rope. To save face, I agree, thinking: Well, if he suggests something too crazy, I’ll just draw the line. I was the first to start soloing out at Josh anyhow.

Dave Graham
A storm was a'brewin.' I felt it in my trick knee well that, and I was with Dave Graham in Calgary, Canada, where it had rained for three days, which translates to no climbing. It might get ugly. If anyone has earned an honorary membership in a group named Dirty Sox it is Washington's Fred Beckey, sovereign of American DirtBag Climbers.
NiteHawk Eco Headlamp Review
The new kid on the block, NiteHawk, a Canadian outfit, enters the lamp fray with a proprietary light “emitter” that its designers say is “beyond the LED”—and will “replace existing lighting in the not-so-distant future.”
