LOWA Vajolet GTX Review18-Dec-2012It’s spring. sheep are bleating in green fields. Chicks cry for worms. Mountaineers shake off their frosty coils and turn toward the mountains where couloirs and ridges are crusted with just the right mix of neve and snow. Time for peak bagging! Mad Rock Loco Shoe Review16-Dec-2010

Millet Myo Velcro15-Jan-2013Out of the box, the Myo (billed as an “expert slipper”) looks like a high-end shoe. Stiff, downturned, with a talon-sharp toe, I expected them to edge fiendishly and hurt like the dickens. For about a month, the Myo delivered on both counts. ...

Waimea (5.10d): Runmey, New Hampshire
I've spent the last decade traveling to the world’s best sport-climbing areas, but a recent trip to my old stomping grounds reminded me of how good we have it here at home.
