Systems Training with Alex Johnson

Alex Johnson is gunning for The Swarm (V14) and a 5.14 in 2016—both grades she has yet to send. She's training on a Systems Wall to pinpoint her weaknesses, to evenly train both sides of her body (symmetrical training), and to mimic the crux of her project. In this video, Johnson shares some of her Systems Wall training tips.

Tips for Systems Training:

1) Quality over quantity
2) Open-handed grip
3) Tight core
4) Shoulders engaged
5) Hips and shoulders square
