Alex Megos has recently succeeded on an open project in Germany's Frankenjura, opening the route Classified. As for the grade, it is reported via Frankenjura.com that Megos felt reserved about proposing a grade, however, the project had been tried by both Markus Bock and Christian Bindhammer and both climbers feel the grade of 9a+ (5.15a) is appropriate for Classified. The 65-foot route, which is located at the Holzgauerhaus wall, took Megos around three days to send. Considering that Megos recently became the first climber in the world to onsight 5.14d and then climbed a 5.15a second try, it seems likely that Classified's 5.15a grade will hold.
