Jan Hojer's footage of Off the Wagon (V14) has finally been released. The German powerhouse visited Ticino, Switzerland, this past November and put together a string of impressive ascents, including Momentum (V14), and the iconic Off the Wagon (V14). In this video, Hojer makes quick work of some of the area's hardest problems, including flashes of V11 and V12, and, of course, the quick second ascent of Off the Wagon.
Off the Wagon is located in Switzerland's Valle Bavona, and was originally discovered by Dave Graham, as seen in Dosage Vol. 3. But the problem was made famous by Chris Sharma, who unlocked Off the Wagon's radical campus rose-move sequence, featured in Dosage Vol 4. Sharma was not able to complete the problem, however, and the first ascent finally fell to Nalle Hukkataival in November, six years after Sharma's attempts. Hukkataival, who also climbed Momentum during the same trip, suggested V15 for both problems, but Hojer repeated the problems shortly after and suggested V14.
