Isabelle Faus Sends Partage (V12) in Fontainebleau, France

By Ryan Gannaway

Isabelle Faus stands beneath Partage (V12). Isabelle Faus has climbed the striking arete of Partage (V12) in Fontainebleau, France. About the problem, she commented on “"I did one session to figure out the beta, and got up pretty high, but couldn't figure out the top … Then I watched some videos of short people climbing it, went back, and did it the first try of my second day trying it.”

Faus recently made headlines by climbing Trice (V12) at Flagstaff Mountain, Colorado. Trice is a classic Jim Holloway line and arguably the first V12 in the world. Partage is Faus' third V12 and her first in Fontainebleau.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Faus, 20, is now based out of Boulder, Colorado.
