The 21-year-old climber wrote in her blog about Zarzaparilla:
“I knew exactly what to do and I knew that I could do it so why did I keep falling. There were so many other problems that I wanted to try. I didn’t want to have to come back to this one again and again. The added pressure of returning knowing it was possible was daunting. A feeling I am becoming more and more familiar with.”
Coxsey is primarily a competition climber, but has said that climbing outside is a “treat.”.
According to an interview with ukclimbing.com, Coxsey plans to focus on training for the World Cups during the next few months.
