Carlo Traversi has repeated the Dave Graham testpiece The Story of Two Worlds (V15) at Cresciano, Switzerland.
Carlo says he was close to doing it already on the fourth day but that he then kept falling at the end for five days or so.
A couple of days ago, Traversi told UK Climbing he had "fallen off the end of
The Story of Two Worlds probably 10 times now, total mental battle, not tired
or anything, just keep making stupid mistakes."
So, what made the difference in the end?
"Rest and healing the splits in my right hand, but it could have happened anytime."
Carlo now has six days left in Switzerland and says he is very close
on another potential V15 at Brione.
Original story by Bjorn Pohl at UKClimbing.com with additional reporting by Shelby Carpenter at Rock and Ice.
