This past August, Sasha DiGiulian and Spanish climber Edu Marin made headlines when they repeated Bellavista, a 5.14b alpine rock route that summits Cima Ovest di Lavaredo in the Italian Dolomites. The route was established by Alexander Huber as an aid line in 1999, and he returned two years later to free all the pitches. DiGiulian told Rock and Ice in August that she sent the 5.14b pitch on her second try of her third day and flashed the 5.13b pitch, but had to descend because it was getting too late. She returned the next day and sent every pitch to the top.
