The Ouray Ice Park is 100% open and reports the best conditions in recent memory. "The ice is incredibly fat," says Cory Jackson of the Ouray Ice Park. "It's plastic late-season hero ice.  Certainly, we've been lucky with the weather.  More important, our staff of ice farmers has been very devoted to early season grooming.  The Park is 100% open, and we plan to re-introduce the Gazebo wall for Festival weekend."

Festival weekend kicks off in seven days, on January 5 and runs through January 8. With 66 clinics, the Ice Festival is your chance to up your ice game by learning from the pros such as Will Mayo, Gord McArthur, Kyle Dempster, Steve House, Josh Wharton and Sam Elias, who returns this year as one of the top competitors to watch in the Mixed Competition on Saturday, January 7 starting at 9 am.
