Jacob Cook on Moonlight Buttress (5.12d/7c)

Jacob Cook freed Moonlight Buttress (5.12d/7c), a classic test piece finger crack in Zion National Park. Six of the 11 pitches are 5.12 finger cracks, which are a new style for Cook. He and his climbing partner, Bron, spent two days on the wall in April, setting up a portaledge bivy above pitch seven. All of the pitches were lead and followed free.
