In 1986, Italian climber Andrea Gallo finally clipped the chains on his dream project, a route now known as Hyaena (5.14a), now considered one of the first routes of the grade in the world. In this episode of Reclimbing the Classics, Austrian powerhouse Jakob Schubert meets with Gallo, gets the beta and attempts to send the fierce, old-school route.
