Weekend Whipper: Ground Fall Off Heresy (5.11c), Smith Rock

28-Jul-2017

For this week's Weekend Whipper, a climber flubs the third bolt of Heresy (5.11c) at Smith Rock, Oregon and hits the deck.

Fortunately for him, he got away with only "a gnarly rope burn," the video description states. If you watch closely, you'll see that the climber somehow managed to grab booth sides of the rope as he fell. Ouch...

Happy Friday and climb safe this weekend!
