Ondra cruxing on La Dura Dura (5.15c). Photo by <a target=Bernardo Gimenez ” src=”https://d1vs4ggwgd7mlq.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/Article-Images/News-Photos/ondra-la-dura-dura.jpg” />Adam Ondra has onsighted Chambao in Baltzola, Spain, for his 15th 5.14c onsight.

Ondra traveled to the Spanish grotto to try a 5.14d route, according to his comments on 8a.nu, but postponed his attempts due to the humidity.

The prolific sport climbing accomplishments of Ondra are astonishing to say the least. According to his own Wikipedia page, Ondra has redpointed two 5.15cs (both first ascents), six 5.15bs, 15 5.15as, 46 5.14ds, 103 5.14cs (15 onsight), 110 5.14bs (23 onsight) and 305 5.13d and 5.14a routes–149 of which were onsights.

Ondra is reportedly preparing for another summer trip to Flatanger, Norway, where he established Change (5.15c) in 2012. Check out the video below of Ondra bolting and climbing the world’s first 5.15c in the Hanshalleren cave of Norway.
