Alex Puccio has climbed her second V13 in seven days, repeating Dave Graham’s Nuthin’ But Sunshine in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, on July 6.

After attempting this problem last year, Puccio managed to send on her first try after running from Upper Chaos Canyon to Lower Chaos Canyon to beat the setting sun. This marks the second female ascent of the problem after Shauna Coxsey climbed it last year.

Puccio’s first V13 was Top Notch, which she climbed on July 1, in RMNP’s Chaos Canyon.

“Psyched!” Puccio wrote on her Facebook page. “Sent Nuthin’ But Sunshine V13 / 8B first try this year! Went to Upper to film Top Notch, then got to watch and spot Joel Zerr as he sent Blood Money, and then we ran to Lower as it was getting dark, and I sent first try. Can’t really believe it! Definitely not as hard as Top Notch but it’s an AMAZING boulder!”

She placed sixth overall in the Bouldering World Cup this year, her worst result, but with two V13s in seven days and an impressive list of V12s, Puccio seems to be putting her energy into climbing outside.

“I’m just psyched to try hard outside,” Puccio told UK Climbing.

Below Puccio tears it up on Nuthin’ But Sunshine, sticks a move on Top Notch and makes things look easy on Blood Money (V12).
