On the first day of 2015, Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson both fired pitch 14 of the Dawn Wall.

“Oh snap,” posted Caldwell on Facebook. “The hardest pitch got sent by both of us tonight. I might be in a little shock right now.”

“Tonight, I sent the hardest pitch of my life and the hardest on the Dawn Wall!” wrote Jorgeson.

The team is now at a high point on the Dawn Wall and are poised to send.

“The route is taking a toll on our fingertips as we are now both climbing with taped up fingertips, but it doesn’t seem to be slowing us down too much,” wrote Caldwell. “Oh yeah!!!!”
