World Cup Champion Jakob Schubert of Austria traveled to Magic Wood, Switzerland, where he flashed four V10 or harder boulder problems and sent two V14s in one weekend.

“Had an amazing weekend in Magic Wood!” Schubert posted on Facebook yesterday. “Definitely returning as soon as possible.”

In his two days in Magic Wood, Schubert sent V10s La Danse and Du Cote de Seshuan (flash); V11s Astronautenfeiber and Foxy Lady (flash); V12s Massive Attack (flash) and Voigas; V13 Riverbed (flash); and V14s From Shallow Waters to Riverbed and Daniel Woods’ Mystic Stylez (previously graded V15).

Schubert will participate in the final World Cup of the season in Kranj, Slovenia, this weekend. He grabbed gold at Mokpo and took fourth place at Inzai so far in the tour. He won last year’s World Cup event in Kranj.

“Dayum!!!!!” posted David Graham on Schubert’s Facebook. “Nice work man!!!”
