“Yesterday morning I was lucky enough to climb the first ascent of one of the best boulders I’ve ever done,” Webb posted on his Instagram on November 3. “I’ve seen photos of this beast for a couple years now and this season I decided it was time to go check it out.”

The problem, located in an area known as Neverland just over an hour’s drive from Laramie, features “20+ moves on impossibly solid crimps, edges and slopers out a massive roof,” according to Jamie Emerson.

Webb has made a solid tour of the West. He sent The Reckoning (V14) and made the first ascent of I Shot the Sheriff (V13) in Squamish before bouncing down to Leavenworth, Washington, to bag another FA with Drawn and Quartered (V13). He took first place at the Portland Boulder Rally on October 4 and Seattle’s Northwest Boulderfest on October 13. The tour then led him past Leavenworth again where he made the second ascent of King Slayer (V13) and the first ascent of the technical Sling Blade Sit (V13).

On the first day at City of Rocks, the next stop on the trip, he made another FA with Tres Huecos (V12), which he says was is “one of the best lines I’ve done in a while.” Not long after he ticked the 45-degree Rhythm Mechanics (V13) before finally heading to Wyoming, where he found Multiverse.

Webb isn’t slowing down. “We can’t wait to get back out there!” he posted on his Instagram. “The next week looks prime!”
