“So happy to have sent my old project as a gift for my birthday,” reported Le Nevé. “Intense moment shared with my brother belaying and supporting me until the top!”

Le Nevé’s ascent is now a contender for the hardest female redpoint ever achieved at the technically and mentally demanding cliff of Céüse. In 2010, Alizée Dufraisse climbed Arcadémicien des Crépis (5.14b). The 12-year-old phenom Ashima Shiraishi also sent Arcadémicien des Crépis in 2013.

Baa Baa Black Sheep was established by Dave Graham in 2001 and sits on the far right side of the famed Biographie sector which houses Chris Sharma’s historic Biographie/Realization (5.15a). Le Nevé described Baa Baa Black Sheep as “bouldery,” which may be her forte considering she often makes headlines while competing on the World Cup Bouldering Circuit. However, Le Nevé has proved to be equally adept at climbing hard sport routes. In May, she <a href=claimed the first female ascent of Wolfgang Gullich’s Wallstreet (5.14b), in Germany’s Frankenjura.
