The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25 devastated communities, families, and towns across the country. Almost a week later, Nepal is still climbing out of the ruins.
To make matters worse, the U.S. Geological Survey forecasts 3 to 14 aftershocks greater than or equal to five in magnitude and a 54 percent chance of a magnitude six or greater earthquake occurring in the coming weeks.
At this time the best way to help Nepal is through monetary donations. There are a variety of nonprofits that are collecting aid donations for disaster relief.
