There was a lot that went wrong on that trip to the wall, but there was even more that went right. I survived and learned an incredible lesson. Solo mission to project a wall for a first ascent, can’t be taken lightly in the desert. Especially in remote, isolated conditions. However, it isn’t always possible to have a partner, and at least with my SPOT I can still be in contact with the outside world.
