Falling ice tools were just one of the exciting things to happen at the World Cup in Denver, Colorado last weekend, February 23 to 24, 2019.

Sometimes you go for it and stick the move. Aaaaand sometimes ya don't.

Glen Sullivan walks us through what happened before a fall that's keeping him on the sidelines for the next few months.

"I pulled up a bunch of slack to put through the draw and my middle finger missed the carabiner and then boom."

We know, we know, bouldering falls aren't technically Whippers. But for all you hair-splitters out there, know that it's just because we don't like to discriminate between types of climbing: all falls are equally worthy of cringing and ridicule to us!

You can literally see the rock (honestly, more like hard mud) showering down as holds break away with each fall!
