The 2018 Lead World Cup season heads into the homestretch after Kranj with only two more competitions to go.
Janja Garnbret took a lead gold again in Arco while Jakob Schubert came back to win for the second time this season. In speed, Danyil Boldyrev defended his Chamonix gold and Iuliia Kaplina took first place for the women.
German climber Alex Megos won the men’s lead World Cup in Briancon this weekend, while Janja Garnbret took gold in women’s lead
In the Chamonix World Cup last weekend, Jessica Pilz and Stefano Ghisolfi took first place in the lead comp, while Aleksandra Rudzinska and Danyil Boldyrev won speed.
Garnbret and Schubert took first in women’s and men’s lead, respectively, and Anouck Jaubert and Aleksandr Shikov moved up in the speed rankings.
