Rain in Wales brought Alex Megos to the Parisellas Cave where he linked Louis Armstrong (8B/V14)—which he called soft for the grade—into
Halfway House (8A/+ V11/12). He named the new linkup Louis Cut. “[Louis Cut] is probably soft 8B+ [V14] or since it’s
got about 20 moves it’s more like an 8c+ [5.14c] route,” he posted on Instagram.
