Most climbers would settle for a numerically appropriate 29 routes to celebrate their 29th birthday, but not Alex Honnold. Instead, he elects to tick a massive 290 pitches over the course of one day. With just 16 hours of daylight available, Alex must average a climb every three minutes, racking up more climbing in a single day than most people manage in the space of a year.
