Check out this amazing clip of old-school bouldering in Fontainebleau from The Call of the Peaks, a 1946 film by Alain Pol. It’s in French and there aren’t any English subtitles, but it’s really cool just to watch these guys—without sticky rubber, chalk or brushes—pulling hard in 1940s Font.
