Brad Gobright and Ben Hanna Take Down Dreefee (5.13d, 10 pitches)
Dreefee, a 10-pitch 5.13d, is one of the best and hardest big wall routes in Red Rocks, Nevada.
Brad Gobright had history with Dreefee before coming back to it at the end of 2017: “Last year I was trying this route back in March, and I was at the base of the climb when I took a nasty slip. … Fell about 60 feet and broke my ankle really bad. I ended up having to crawl my way out of the Cnayon. It took about five hours, it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. … So I’m back this year for redemption.”
Watch him and Ben Hanna on these super thin and super aesthetic pitches: beautiful rock, long and scary runouts, tiny crimps, and radical sends!
