Carlo Traversi attempts the “Triple 14 Challenge”—to climb a V14, 5.14 and a 14er in one day—with Jade (V14), Sarchasm (5.14)
and Longs Peak (14,259 feet) via Pervertical Sanctuary (5.11a) on the Diamond, all in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. If climbing
three “14’s” wasn’t hard enough, the feat also requires 23 miles of hiking and 12,852 feet of vertical gain to link all three climbs.
Traversi completed the Triple 14 Challenge in 19 hours 55 minutes car to car.
