French climber Charles Albert sends Fred Nicole’s Monkey Wedding (8C/V15)—barefoot—in Rocklands, South Africa.

Albert’s feet must have been clean, because his June ascent kicked off a Monkey Wedding send train. On July 6, Israel’s Bouldering National Champion
Alex Khazanov climbed the famous boulder problem for its 11th ascent, after three sessions; and on July 10, Alex Megos hiked the problem in just 30
minutes (after spending half a day working it three years ago) on his first day in Rocklands.
