Watch Chris Sharma on the first ascent of a 30 meter (nearly 100 feet) deep-water-solo line up Pont d’Arc in France. The climb, which awaits a name, is somewhere around 5.14, Sharma says.

“I climbed it all ground up, so that added a lot of mystery and adventure and also added difficulty—it was an incredible experience,” he said in
an interview with planetmountain.com. “It’s kind of crazy to keep discovering new things that continue to inspire me in new ways!”
