Emily Harrington and Alex Honnold team up for a free ascent of Solar Flare (5.12d) on the Incredible Hulk, one of the biggest granite walls of
the high Sierra, California.

They completed the five-pitch climb—established by Conrad Anker and Peter Croft in 2007—in one day in a celebration of their birthdays, which
fall on the same day one year apart from one another.

“I was just thinking we’d climb it like normal people,” Harrington says, “but he can’t like, chill.”
