Why devote a life entirely to mountains?

2016 was a good climbing year; expedition followed expedition, and I climbed my heart out. I shared some great adventures with even greater friends. We
witnessed breathtaking sunrises, golden evening light, and starry nights. We suffered, screamed in pain, and walked for endless days. But why do this?
Why devote a life entirely to climbing? Our motivations are simple: for the love of it.

This film shows a collection of footage taken during my adventures in 2016.

Locations: Alps (Mont Blanc Massif), Canadian Rockies, Patagonia (Torres del Paine (Chile) and Fitzroy Massif (Argentina)), Scotland (Highlands, Isle of
Arran, Hoy), Gogarth (North Wales), Flatanger (Norway).

Selected Routes: Pierre Allain/Classic N. Face Route on Le Dru (winter), Walker Spur on Grandes Jorasses (winter), American Direct on Le Dru, Divine Providence
on Mont Blanc, Super Dupont on Aiguille du Midi, House/Anderson on Mt. Alberta, Normal Route on Mt. Athabasca, Supercanaleta on Cerro Fitzroy, The
Long Hope Route on Hoy, Skinhead Moonstomp on Gogarth and the Brenner/Moschioni on Aguja Guillaumet.

Grateful thanks to all.
