Watch Ryuichi Murai of Japan make the fifth ascent of Spray of Light (8C V15) in Rocklands, South Africa. First climbed by Daniel
Woods in July 2015, Spray of Light consists of over 20 moves that take the climber from the back of a dark cave out into the daylight.

Murai has got one of the hottest hands in bouldering these days—this past spring he sent three V15s in a single month. Spray of Light is
Murai’s fifth climb of the grade. The video shows Murai sending a slew of other hard boulders, including The Quintessential (8B V13), The Escapist (8B/+
V13/14), Derailed (8B+ V14), and Sky (8B+ V14). Murai’s attempts on Spray of Light begin at 14:14 in the video.
