Ahh manteling. Everyone’s favorite climbing move. The control, the precision, the pure, titillating contact. It’s what gets us out to the crag in the mornings. Don’t you all just dream about sliding your bloated bellies across the rock like a cheese grater, scuffing up your new t-shirt?
Manteling just feels damn good.
Still, Bailey probably was walking a bit funny the day after this flop on Germ Free Adolescence (V5), in Eldorado Canyon, Colorado. At least his spotter was able to give him a nice back rub on the way down. He also bounced, so we’re assuming he hit his pad. If not…ouch.
