While climbing in the gym Peter Theobald, goes for the move, misses it, and goes for a ride before smacking into his belayer like a wrecking ball.

“It happened pretty quickly,” Theobald writes to Rock and Ice in an email, “but I came out completely unscathed. I think I just knocked him over by pushing the rope.”

“I did, however, dump my chalk bag on his face while he was down! After the video I went back up and made the clip before the crux and finished the climb. I should always remember if I’m too tired to make that clip, I’m probably too tired to make the move.”

Happy Friday and climb safe this weekend!
