This Weekend Whipper takes us to the granite crag of Alfalfal in the Colorado River Valley of Chile, South America. The climber, Benja Lira, is near the top of a traditionally protected route, but is cruxing on a bouldery face move. As he attempts to fight through the sequence, he loses balance and goes airborne. But just as the rope comes taut on Lira’s last piece of pro, he suddenly finds himself accelerating again, and going for a longer ride
than expected!
