Weekend Whipper: Coarse and Buggy Trad Fall
In the last light of the day, Travis H. enters the slabby finish of Coarse and Buggy (5.11)—an 80 foot trad route in Joshua Tree, California—but
he’s too pumped out of his gourd to make the upper 5.8 moves.
“My right foot slipped forcing me to go back to the jug,” he writes, “which I couldn’t hold onto anymore. Fell on a solid .75 C4 about 15 feet below.”
He plummeted around 35 to 45 feet.
“Can’t wait to get trashed in the comments!”
