Sometimes good ol’ fashion Try Hard just isn’t enough. For this week’s Weekend Whipper, Matt Reeser pendulums off the Eldo test-piece Desdichado (5.13+)
in Eldorado Canyon, Colorado.

Jonathan Siegrist describes the route on Mountain Project: “This climb
is amazing. The movement is very continuous and dynamic—no single move is harder than maybe 12+/13-, but no move is too much easier either. There
are restful positions, but there is no rest. Desdichado … is still an incredible, historically significant, Eldo testpiece classic!”

Reeser sent the route a month earlier, but couldn’t stick it this time around.

Happy Friday and stay safe out there this weekend!
