Route: Werk Supp (5.8), The Bastille, Eldorado Canyon, Colorado.

Two body-lengths above his last piece of gear, Detrick Snyder falls and flies past the #2 Cam. His leg crosses the rope and when it goes taut, Snyder
inverts to a hands-first, superman dive towards the ground. Luckily, the cam holds and Snyder’s okay, apart from a sprained foot.

“With both partners having already bailed in an earlier rainstorm, and myself with naught but a sprained foot, I was able to clean the route before a
downpour started soon after,” Snyder told Rock and Ice. “Never leave booty behind!”

Stay safe out there.
