Weekend Whipper: Redlining to the Max
A nice, safe, fun and big whipper this week!
This one comes from Rosie Percival, who sent it in after being convinced by her friends.
Rosie is going for the “short-person clipping jug,” as she calls it, on Redlining to the Max, a 23 (5.11b/c) at Paynes Ford, New Zealand.
Suffice it to say, she doesn’t reach that jug.
But neither she, nor her belayer, nor the person filming—who together sound like a group of cackling hyenas that just did some Whip-its—seems the least bit concerned by her big fall. And why should they be—the belayer gives a good catch and Rosie ends up safe and sound.
Great to see people climbing safe but still going for it! Nice work Rosie ?
Happy Friday and climb safe this weekend!
