This is not this climber’s lucky day. After powering through the crux of the Joshua Tree roof-crack More Monkey Than Funky (5.11b), Nick Sullen
attacks the route’s finishing headwall. But just as he’s trying to top out, a tug on his harness from his stuck rope below yanks him from the rock,
and due to the stuck cord, the belayer has no chance of giving a soft catch. Ouch!
