Sometimes the hardest climbing on a route isn’t the crux during a redpoint, as demonstrated in this Weekend Whipper. After successfully
top-roping Buddha (5.12a), a limestone route in Texas put up by Rock and Ice editor Jeff Jackson, this climber should have the
remaining 5.11 climbing in the bag … however, the slopey top-out proves too difficult with a hefty pump. Bombs away!
